About This Item

Dublin & London: Maunsel & Company Ltd., 1917. A slim volume containing three poems, meditations by Stephens on the Easter Uprising: "Autumn 1915," "Spring 1916," and "Joy Be With Us." This is a New Edition, with a smaller format than the First Edition, and the titles are slightly different. This is a Very Good copy. Green paper-covered boards with a linen spine. Clean text; 16 pages; deckled fore-edge. Rubbing to the corners, gift inscription dated 1921 on FFEP; an interesting clipping about the theme is tipped onto the front paste-down. This copy retains more of the bright, dark green color - the boards are usually seen in faded condition. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. First Thus.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
