About This Item

Frankfort: Kentucky Historical Society Book. Very Good. Soft cover. pp171-190. Removed from THE REGISTER OF THE KENTUCKY HISTORICAL SOCIETY , Vol. 75, No., 3, July 1977. In report covers VG. May include a first or last copied page. Due to confusing and/or inaccurate descriptions of the claims, because of over-lapping, and odd-shaped tracts, and the government continually extending the deadlines for which payment could be made, the whole process of obtaining lands in the area that would become the state of Kentucky, became a legal nightmare that took many years to correct..
