Straight and tight with no markings, light spine-end and corner wear, dish to front board, spine sun faded. Greenbanks is the home which has housed three generations of the same family in the years before and after WWI, the matriarch, Louisa, her brood of children and their own children. From the author of nearly 20 popular fiction novels, story collections, children's books, and an autobiography, several of which have been recently reprinted and two of which: They Were Sisters (1945) and They Knew Mr. Knight (1946) were made into feature films.
