Compelling images taken by the Danish physician and photographer Krabbe, focussing on the way of life and the inhabitants (Danish Greenlanders and indigenous Greenlandic Inuit people) of this isolated Arctic area. The original front wrapper loosely inserted. Text printed in 2 columns, in Danish and English.

Small folio, xvi, 129 pp, 170 b&w photographic plates, 1 color map. Deaccessed from the Brooklyn Public Library; call numbers lettered base of spine; library stamps at plate corners. Green gilt library cloth binding, slightly rubbed spine ends; text and plates bright and clean. OCLC: 5202572.
