Good-looking, structurally sound but for scuffing to paper at spine bottom, a colorfully illustrated artist gallery catalog of paintings, drawings and objets d'art by S. Hadengue. Bound in stiff, thread-stitched wrappers with tri-color. Louise Leiris Gallery displayed and sold fine art works from leading artists of the 1940s and 1950s all the way into the 1980s. Nearly square softcover format, measuring 6 1/2" tall by 6 3/4" wide, respectively. "Ce catalogue (no 5 - Serie B) a ete acheve d'imprimer sur les presses des Maitres-Imprimeurs Draeger Freres, le 4 Novembre, 1974." List of distributors inside front flap, introductory essay by Julien Besancon, then 45 illustrations in black-and-white, printed on high-gloss paper. Exhibit check-list at rear. Text in French. 48 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
