Gold patterned cloth over black cloth with paper spine label, in scarce dust jacket; small 8vo. 45 pp. Boards rubbed and lightly worn, a bit more so at ends. Dust jacket is chipped, worn at folds, nearly detached at spine (still 95 % complete), verso moderately foxed (in removable protective archival jacket). VG/G+. An early ambitious work from the great man of letters, who would win among other things the Pulitzer Prize, the Bollingen, the Tony and an Academy Award.
