The book has been covered contact and the barcode on the head of the front cover obliterated with black texta, the library stamps are limited to the preliminaries, which includes the remnant of a date due slip on the front end paper. Apart from the library markings, a clean and solid copy which appears to have been rarely, if ever borrowed. "The importance of Hans Scharoun (1893-1972) as one of the leading figures in the modern movement has only recently been acknowledged. His use of non-rectilinear geomerty in plan and creation of expressive flowing spaces define his place in architectural history.
