About This Item
U.S.A.: Crocodile Books, 1990 Two books from Dorothy Butler and John Hurford who are/is my absolutely favourite children's book team! Ms. Butler is an ex-schoolteacher with many children who wrote Babies Need Books and other landmark books about children and reading (Cushla and her books) and the totally wonderful Another Happy Tale about a baby who loves to frolic in the pigpen. John Hurford was a psychedelic artist in the 1960's, and has now perfected the best glaring baby study ever (see [photo, that glare is aimed at those who think babies shouldn't crawl around in pig pens!). A Happy Tale is is a near fine First U.S. Edition in near fine condition in a very good minus dj which is unclipped and shiny and newish, but has a one inch and a five inch tear. Another Happy Tale is near fine and has no dj. Also a first.
