Grosset and Dunlap. Hardcover. Fair. CR 1946. Good Hardcover in a Poor Dustjacket. Brown linen boards. Wraparound DJ. Orange Gretta endpapers. Spine a bit slanted, light edge wear, corners bumped. Front free endpaper thinned from removal of bookplate, owner's inscription on the verso of the front free endpaper, small stains and bumps on the foredge, several page edges with small bumpes/tears. DJ shows edge and corner wear, larger chips to front panel and head and foot of spine, front flap split and tape repaired, tape stains, soiling, number 25 written in red pen on spine. Front flap lists Hardy Boys to The Yellow Feather Mystery. Rear Flap lists Bomba to The Lost Explorers. Rear cover lists three Tom Swift. This book is #25 in the Hardy Boys series
Synopsis
A ferocious, wolf-like creature appears during the night of the full moon in a small Adirondack town, attacking livestock and scaring many of the residents. A young man with a history of werewolves in his family line is suspect. Joe barely escapes a horrible death as the young detectives solve this exciting and hair-raising mystery.
