New York: Harper and Brothers, 1898. Wraps. Good. Illustrated wraps. Black and white illustrations throughout, including a few by Frederic Remington. Single issue of this magazine, featuring an article by Caroline Sherman Bansemer on Margaret Brent, asserting that she was the earliest American woman to demand the right to vote; an illustrated story by Frederic Remington; a lengthy article on Eastern Siberia in Russia, including photos of settlements, illustrations and a small map, accompanied by a recounting of life in the region. GOOD condition. Minor soiling and darkening to the covers. Some creasing and curling along the extremities, with several small chips and tears. Spine a bit worn, with a 1 inch piece missing from the head of the backstrip. Minor toning in the interior.
