Hardcover. 127p., text to and through p.23, thereafter profuse sepia plates (fifty of these) reproduced well in full-page recto, each facing a captioned verso. Hardbound in 9x11 inch oblong boards covered in openweave maroon cloth and dust jacket. Dj is edgeworn and chipped, book itself near-fine: no damage, no dirt, no markings. Find about ten original-to-Harry-Smith photos of quake survivors and shaken structures, all beautifully focussed.
