Cleveland and New York: The World Publishing Company, 1956. Signed Limited Edition. Near Fine. First edition, limited issue. One of a limited 500 unnumbered copies signed by Simone de Beauvoir. Bound in publisher's Red cloth-covered boards over dark blue spine cloth stamped in gilt. Near Fine with slight fading to spine, in toned acetate wrapper, in publisher's slipcase which is unevenly sunned and lightly rubbed. A beautiful copy.
