Stone ("Old Put") collected, in this edition, the first appearance of the lyrics to "Sweet Betsy From Pike," and the lyrics to 31 other songs. At the back is a list of "Mining Localities Peculiar to California." Some of the unique names include "Gouge Eye," "Shinbone Peak," and "Rat Trap Slide."
