Glasgow & London: Swan/Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown, Green, & Longman, 1835. Hardcover. Good. Steel engraved plates (6) by Joseph Swan. Quarto (230x135mm) original front board only is present with gilt decorative titling (corners of board worn/book block tight) 170pp Usual foxing, more so to engraved TP as it is the only plate not to have its tissue guard in place. 2 cuttings about Paisley tipped onto FEP. Some signs of use & REP not complete but an untrimmed copy making a neat candidate for binding of this illustrated history of Paisley in Scotland with interesting items on the manufacture of Paisley shawls there and in the neighboring villages.
