Richmond, VA: B.F. Johnson Publishing Co., 1900. FIRST EDITION/GOOD CONDITION. 170 pages, limited to 180 copies. Bound in brown cloth with still-sharp gilt lettering on cover. The boards have a significant number of scratches near the spine and edges, and the corners and spine are rubbed. The front hinge is broken, but intact. The text has slight toning, no markings. Previous owner's nameplate on front paste down. In protective mylar. Subject matter includes history and sketches of the earlliest patents and settlers of Southwest Virginia, including the Preston Saltworks at Saltville. Very nice copy of hard to find title.. First American Edition. Hardcover. Good Hardback/No Dustjacket. 6 x 9".
