London: Printed for J. Johnson et al., 1808. In two volumes. [12], 228; [8], 217pp, [1]. Contemporary gilt-tooled marbled calf, contrasting red morocco lettering-pieces. Lightly rubbed, slight surface loss to lower board of Vol. I, spines dulled. Henry Fielding's (1707-1754) celebrated satire, a highly influential work in the development of the English novel, first printed in 1742. . 12mo.
