Greenwood, SC: The Attic Pres, Inc, 1979. Limited Edition Reprint. Hardcover. Near Fine. On July 24, 1885, twenty members of Company E, 6th S.C. Vols., and Company G, 9th S.. Vols., met at James Lide Coker's home in Hartsville, S.C. and formed a Survivors' Association. Company records have been followed up to October, 1863. After that time, no written records were preserved, but accuracy was assured because of members' memories and recollections of the time written about. <br><br>Twenty-six chapters begin with "Causes of Secession", continue with "Yorktown and Williamsburg", "The Maryland Campaign", "From Fort Harrison to Appomattox" and end with "Closing Chapter". A history of South Carolina. Author Preface, 210 pp. <br><br>CONDITION: Grey boards, gilt title on cover and spine. Vertical stain inside hinges. Volume has been bound with text upside down. Text clean. Near fine. Full refund if not satisfied.
