Throughout the text there are reproductions of historical illustrations and documents. Photographic paperback binding with gold and white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The history of the Spanish Marranos – Jews who practised Christianity in public and Judaism in private. Commencing in 1391 until their expulsion 100 years later, this book traces the history, survival, and, the rise and fall of the Spanish Inquisition (whose preoccupation was of weeding out of these Marranos). Rubbing of the book edges and panels with slight creasing of the book corners. Faint reading creases to the back strip with a small chip to the top back strip edge.
