Philadelphia: Blanchard and Lea, 1853.. 1853.. Good. - Octavo, brown cloth. The covers are bumped & rubbed. There are some small white stains to the rear cover & the cloth is peeling away from the board along its top edge. There is a white stain to the spine & the head & tail are chipped. The top of the front joint is split. xv & [i] pages, 16- page publisher's catalog in the rear & pages [33]-520. There is foxing to the pastedowns, endpapers & catalog with scattered light foxing in the rest of the book. Ex-library with a handwritten label on the spine, a handwritten numeral on the rear endpaper & some small remnants of a library pocket on the rear pastedown. Good.
