Hardcover. Fair. This is last volume of the eight volume History of the Romans Under the Empire. This volume covers the years 96 A.D. (the assassination of Domitian)to 180 A.D. (the death of Aurelius). Former library book. The binding on this book is loose and has been repaired by the library in the table of contents. The cover is worn along the edges and slightly bowed. The spine has tears at the top and bottom (see the picture). There are a few notes and underlined sections throughout the book. The library has marked the book as follows: there is a sticker on the spine, a stamp on the page ends, stickers inside the front cover, a note on the half title page, a stamp on the full title page, a stamp and note on the table of contents, and a sticker and card holder inside the back cover.
