Printed by George Eyre and Andrew Strahan. London. 1823. 12mo (5.7 x 3.6 inches. 2 inches thick). General title page and New testament title page both dated 1823. Fine contemporary full black straight grained morocco. Spine with four raised bands, each ruled in gilt. The compartments lettered and fully decorated in gilt. Boards with elaborate decorative gilt borders. Board edges and turn-ins with decorative gilt roll. All edges gilt. A lovely copy in a beautiful early nineteenth century binding.
