Ann Arbor: Lithoprinted by Edwards Brothers, Inc, 1940. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair. Octavo. xxxiv, [1], 226 pages. Illustrated. Blue cloth hardcover with title on the front cover. Cloth is split and frayed along the outer joints. Covers loose but holding. Front and rear end papers toned brown. Several pages have light pencil notes and a few have ink notes in the margins and text. Loose ephemera related to the book laid inside the rear cover. An old 1935 newspaper clipping from Chester, PA regarding the death of George Gray Leiper pasted down on the rear end sheet. Inscribed by the author on the right front flyleaf. Previous owner inscription written beneath the authors inscription. 100 copies privately printed. 8 copies located in OCLC.
