About This Item

Utah: Wasatch County Chapter Daughters Of Utah Pioneers, 1963. Comprehensive classic text presents a detailed centennial history of Wasatch County, Utah from the time the first settlers arrived in 1859 to the beginning of the county's second century in the 1960's. This volume has been prepared almost exclusively from manuscript material. Diaries, letters, journals and biographies of pioneers, and accounts related personally by the early settlers or by their sons and daughters have contributed a great deal to this work. Material as arranged in this book includes the religious, educational, civic and political, cultural, commercial, and industrial histories of each community in the county. Each of the communities is included in a separate section of the text, and at the end of each section contains pictures and biographies of the pioneers and others who made Wasatch County what it is today. Signed by W.J. Mortimer on the title page. 1198 pp. Illustrated. Pictorial covers. No spine cracks or creases. Very minimal shelfwear. Scarce.. Signed by Author. Pictorial Hard Cover. As New. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
