New York: Harper & Row, Publishers, 1949 Bright yellow cloth with printed color cover illustration identical to dust jacket cover. Identified as a Harper Blue Ribbon Book by blue-and-gold seal affixed to spine/front panel of jacket. Reprint; first published in 1921. With 13 full-page illustrated plates--some black-and-white, some color--including frontispiece. Black-and-white tipped in illustration at beginning of Chapter 1. Other drawings scattered throughout. Light dappled and irregular fading to cover cloth. Otherwise clean, tight, and unworn in a moderately edgeworn and chipped (head of spine) dust jacket with several short, closed tears.Now protected in mylar.
