Cantabrigiae, [i.e. Cambridge]: Ex Officina Johannis Hayes, celeberrimae Academia Typographi, 1683. [136]pp. Without A1, as issued. Recent blue half-morocco, buckram boards, titled in gilt to spine. Marbled endpapers, A.E.G. Spine a trifle browned, else a fine copy. With an early manuscript verse in 12 lines, entitled 'Variatio martialis' to blank fly leaf at end. An official collection of Cambridge University Restoration verse published on the occasion of the royal marriage of Princess, later Queen Anne (1665-1714) and Prince George of Denmark. Including verse in Latin, English and Greek, it features early contributions from George Stepney (1663-15 September 1707) and his friend Charles Montagu, afterwards 1st Earl of Halifax (1661-1715).
