About This Item

New York: Random House, 1965. Very good plus in like dust jacket.. First edition, first printing of this fanciful story of the grass not always being greener on the other side. SOLLA SOLLEW is a trouble-free paradise... at least that's what the chap on the camel-conveyed One-Wheeler Wubble tells our fuzzy protagonist. But getting there proves to be quite a struggle in and of itself! Dr. Seuss is in top form depicting bright and lumpy landscapes populated by strange creatures of all sorts on the way to SOLLA SOLLEW. 11'' x 8''. Original color pictorial boards. Original unclipped (295/295) color pictorial dust jacket. Color pictorial endpapers of a fanciful maze. Illustrated in color. 32 leaves. Jacket with light edgewear, a bit of scuffing; head of spine bumped with some chipping. Binding with mild edgewear, spine ends a bit bumped. Some spots of toning to rear turn-in. Sharp and bright.
