Hardcover. xv, 254p., quarter-cloth boards, 5.75x9 inches, boards worn at corners, previous owner's name penned on free front endpaper, colored pencil underlining on a few pages, else good condition in a price-clipped, edgeworn, and chipped dj with a damp stain on the front panel. "Autobiography" of Lucifer. Clason was a copywriter and the author of a series of ten mysteries starring the detective Theocritus Lucius Westborough. Some anti-communist content (the devil is an admirer of Marx).
