Albany NY: Luther Tucker & Son. Very Good. 1858. First Edition. 1/4 leather. Woodcuts, Diagrams, Pictorial Ads; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 1500 pages; 1858 - 1878. Luther Tucker & Son, Albany. Prior owner has bound ten volume together in one stout volume. Bound together from singles issues but without original wraps. Binder's ticket tipped in at front. Each volume roughly 150 pages including the numerous trade ads for seeds, blulbs, equipment, fixtures etc. Various pagination. Soundly bound in quarter leather backed spine with tules and titles in gilt directly to the leather and marbled paper covered boards. Contents clean and neaty. Profusely illustrated with woodcuts showing animal breeds, architectural home and outbuilding designs and plans, fruit varieties and planting techniques etc etc. Each year present contains a cultivator almanac of about 15 pages. Leather lightly rubbed and scuffed at spine ends; front corners of the lower boards lightly bruised and with paper rubbed through. Solid and clean. VG .
