Good dust jacket with minor shelf wear to edges and corners of covers and spine. Dust jacket is protected in mylar. Ex-library copy with shelving sticker on spine, stamps on side leaf ends & half title page. Small stain on half title page and free end page, Illustrator information card pasted in. Moderate shelf wear to edges of hardcover boards. Appears to be missing front endpaper. Brown pen markings on top and bottom leaf ends where the ex-library stamp was possibly covered. Minor water staining to bottom of spine, but does not affect text. ; Ex-Library; 0.75 x 8.48 x 5.56 Inches; 181 pages .

Synopsis

The Indian in the Cupboard is a children's book written by British author Lynne Reid Banks, and illustrated by Brock Colein 1980. It has received numerous awards, and was made into a film in 1995. The book was followed by four sequels: The Return of the Indian (1985), The Secret of the Indian (1989), The Mystery of the Cupboard (1992), and The Key to the Indian (1998). All were published by Doubleday Books in hardcover, then by Avon Books, now HarperCollins, in paperback.
