Illustrated stiff red and black paper wraps with loose paper text pages and cardstock plates inside, some edgewear and corner bumping, slight 1/2" split to top and bottom of outer wrap, very good condition. Written by Dr. Clark Wissler, who was the curator Emeritus of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, known as "one of the foremost authorities on the American Indians, and in this unit he has interpreted their life for young Americans of today."
