About This Item

London: Personal Rights Association, Publisher, 1955. Pamphlet. Good. Side stapled pamphlet. 12 pp. A journal issued by the Personal Rights Association, discussing political and economic issues from an individualist philosophy. The association was formed in 1871, using a quote by Pierre-Joseph Proudhon as its byline in early issues of its journal, a subtle link to slight anarchist tendencies in the principles of the philosophy of individualism. This issue looks focuses heavily on economics and money, especially as it pertains to the British government. With a short piece on the supposed slums in the Gorbals section of Glasgow. GOOD condition. Vertical fold crease present. Minor toning, wrinkling and creasing.

About Mare Booksellers

Mare Booksellers specializes in punk fanzines, with interests in underground newspapers and art. Who are we kidding? We really like anything with printed or handwritten letters, whether paper, books, etc. (Okay, letters and words aren't really that important either).
