Title of book on spine is in red and author and publisher is in silver; on the front cover the Kerr-McGee emblem is in blue and red. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality jacket cover. Dean A. McGee was the geological genius who build the modern Corporation. His picture is on the front cover of the dust jacket with Robert S. Kerr, planning the development of the company. The company was bought out by Anadarko Petroleum a few years ago. 542 pages. 27 chapters cover the history of the company from earliest time until publication. An important piece of American oil history. A nice copy.
