First Edition. 12mo (19cm.); self-wrappers with minor evidence of having been removed from larger volume; 8pp. Light foxing and toning to extremities, else Very Good and sound. Attributed to the Reverend Benjamin Gildersleeve by OCLC no. 83325642 (with imprint variant listing D. Fanshaw as printer). Fable recounting the religious trials of a successful planter on an island in the south, "a man of integrity and influence, kind, amicable, and affectionate, but radically hostile to the religion of Christ" (p. 1).
