Jack Huckaback, The Scapegrace Raven is a tale told in rhyme about Jack Huckaback, a rascally raven, caught and brought home by a a lad named Fred. Jack Huckaback manages to get into quite a lot of trouble, surviving run-ins with Aunt Jane, the dog Pincher and Tom Cat while knocking over dishes, pots, beer, and bilberry marmalade, before sampling some wine and meeting an untimely end. Translated from the German by J.S.S. Rothwell, this 24 page book is undated, but most likely late 19th or early 20th century.
