Chicago and London: Callaghan and Company, 1935. Hardcover. Good+. Black leatherette with gilt titling and bands on black faux spine labels, blind stamped borders on covers. Contains general index. 715 pages plus 137 pages (booklet with staple binding) of the 1940 Cumulative Supplement inserted in pocket at rear of book. The binding was designed to accommodate the insert. Some shelf wear with rubbing to edges, top free corner shows a small bump, marking in pen on page 40 + 41, the last 60 pages of textblock show a two inch crease along the top edge.
