There is no "First edition" statement on the publisher's page and the titles on the dustjacket's rear panel were published in 1931. Some wear to covers, lwear at edges, ight stain at spine foot else a very good, tight copy. Dust jacket has a 1" piece out at foot, spine darkened and spotted, light wear along edges and rubbed but still a colorful front panel. A crime novel set in a Near Future ( 20 years) version of Chicago, (here Cayuga) run by the mob. Advances in Transportation, including autogyros, are evident and television is common as well as an advanced Weapon, which seems to kill its victims but only stuns them until they can be roused, is used by villains. Scarce. Later Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good-Very Good. Book.
