About This Item
London: Frederick Muller, 1964 HC and DJ. 8 x 5 1/2. 228 pp + index. Controversial attitutudes presented by Oliver Walker are the roots of Political isolation experienced by South Africa at the time of the writing of this book. "So uth Africa's capacity to continue flouting world opinion depends on three things which are discussed at length in these pages. They are non-intervention by the great powers; more and more draconian me asure to prevent insurrection among the subbject Blacks, Indians and Coloureds; and no ganging-up by the thirty-four new Black states to the North". A good indication of the attitudes and the times in South Africa in the 60s. DJ has some wear to edges, some soiling to back cover , but looks nice and bright in a new mylar cover. Not price clipped. Black paper binding in near-new cond. No former own er's name on endpapers. Text is clean and unmarked. Seven map illustrations. Overall cond: v. good..
