About This Item

Amsterdam: (AJC) Arbeiders-Jeugd-Centrale, 1934. First edition. Record and information book for attendance at the 1934 AJC socialist youth movement camp De Paasheuvel in Vierhouten. The AJC promoted traditional good manners, no alcohol or tobacco, lots of exercise, folk dancing, drama and music. Front cover green woodcut design by Fré Cohen. In good clean condition. 10 pages. 170 x 105 mm (6¾ x 4¼ inches). The AJC (1918 - 1959) was a socialist youth movement.
