No dustwrapper, minor bumping and wear to spine ends and corners of blue boards, some old water-damage to outer edge of front board resulting in the cloth becoming wrinkled, gilt titles on spine are slightly faded but still clear, the gilt monogram on front board is still bright; a much later owner's name and date (1964) on f/ep, some foxing to outer pages, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. A novel set among upper-class families in New York. Originally published in three volomes in March 1994, this is the second, one-volume edition from October the same year. 365pp plus 6pp adverts.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
