London: Edward Arnold, 1896. 160 pages. 8 plates, folding map. Publisher's red cloth with gilt vignette, recased and with new endpapers. Beynon was an officer of 3rd Gurkha Rifles detached to Colonel Kelly's staff. His is the only book that deals with Kelly's Column as distinct from the main relief force under General Low.
