Illustrated burnt-sienna linen boards/NF w/trace rubs to corner tips & upper/lower spine edges. DJ/VG; awkardly tape repaired closed tear to upper back by spine; small loss to upper corner of back inner flap. Faint soil spots to leading edge. Comprehensive instructions and guide to knitting from casting on to simple stitches, to husky cables, and to daity laces. Some 80 patterns w/diagrams & color photos. Issued in 1972, the designs have gained historical value in terms of fashion; the techniques nevertheless hold true, and shapes and sizings can be modified. Fine copy.
