Containing a history of the town and its development from its first record as Cunetsford in the Domesday Book in 1086, to the time of the book's publication. In a red cloth binding. Externally sound, though with some rubbing to the boards and some bumping. Internally, firmly bound. Presentation bookplate to front pastedown. Institutional ink stamps to endpapers, with blindstamp to title page. Pages have the occasional spot and are slightly browned. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
