Ex-library book with the usual stamps, stickers, etc. Book has been re-bound by the library into very heavy, strong white covers that are new. Dust jacket has some tears and chipping but in wrapped completely (again, by the library) in a protective cover. Text block is flawless with 158 pages of text plus plates, 400 illustrations, including 16 color plates. Contents include Lacquer in the 17th Century "" "" in the 18th Century, Lqcquer in England and the North American Colonies, Italian, German, French, Scandinavian, Russian and Lacquer of the Netherlands, the Lacquer Industry. From the reference section, this book was not generally circulated.
