About This Item

Bournemouth, England: Hapt, 1970. First Edition. Mimeographed sheets. 1/250 copies, illustrated. Four 13.5" x 17" sheets folded once to make a 16-page unbound pamphlet ("Hapt free-print"). Poems from "Earth Incantations (Homage to Ezra Pound)": the title poem (in two parts) and "Victory! The Dancers." With an explanatory epilogue to the poems by the publishers. Warmly inscribed to Cleveland poet T.L. Kryss (whose silkscreens decorated the covers of an earlier book by Dowden) in the year of publication, with more than a dozen small corrections in the text by the author, and a note that the publishers are "English Diggers." Folded in half, with light wear and wrinkling to outer sheet, but still a nice copy. Folio.
