Coburn, Frederick Simpson (illustrations); Armstrong, Margaret (binding, endpapers, and title page) (illustrator). "The Last Ride Together" was printed in several versions, this printed on Japanese vellum paper in the Blue green cloth, the flowers simply embossed. Beveled boards bound in cloth, decoration in blind-stamping and gilt on both front and spine, lettering on front and spine in gilt, all edges gilt, end papers of gray with red decoration by Margaret Armstrong (unsigned), frontispiece and five other illustrations by Frederick Simpson Coburn, each with a lettered tissue guard, title page in brown upon a green decorative background by Margaret Armstrong (unsigned), printed on Japan vellum with each page printed on the recto only, separately hinged, and each page having both a small illustration at the top most in two colours, as well as a hand-coloured decorative border, final page is a vignette of the lovers kissing, each astride their horse, "The End" on ribbon banner beneath; unpaginated with 24 leaves. straight corners with a minimum of rubbing,Rubbing on the top and bottom of spine and on edge of spine. The interior is clean and bright, Pages are clean and unmarked, Prior owner signature neatly in pencil inside front cover.
