Octavo, 371pp. Blue hardcover, black cloth spine, title stamped in silver on spine. Stated "first printing" on copyright page with full number line. Light foxing along top edge of text block. In publisher's dust jacket, retail price on the front flap, light shelf wear, but overall a near fine jacket. Includes JSA Certification and associated paperwork. Signed on the half-title: "To Don Clausen, With appreciation for his years of faithful service to the nation. from Richard Nixon. 11-7-82." Donald H. Clausen (1923-2015) was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1963-1983, serving the north coast of California for 20 years. He was remembered as a bipartisan lawmaker, who delivered major federal work projects to his district, including Warm Springs Dam. He died in 2015.
