About This Item
Natchez MS: Margaret Shields Hendrix, 1972. Second edition. Very Good +. Small staple bound pamphlet; history of Longwood, one of the most unusual of Natchez' antebellum homes. It is an octagonal house, planned by Dr. Haller Nutt, construction halted in 1861. Although never finished as intended, it was used for some decades as a family home. Many illustrations and floor plans. Short but comprehensive account.
