In the publisher's dust jacket, price clipped, touch of shelf wear. Inscribed with a quote from the book on the title page. Letter to the Alumni followed the trial of Black Panther activists in New Haven, Connecticut. Hersey attempts to explain the ongoing civil rights and antiwar activism on campuses around the United States.
