San Francisco: Privately Printed (Press of the Pegacycle Lady), 1968. First Edition. Softcover. Minor scuffing to boards, else near fine.. First Edition. Softcover. Translated and Introduced by Mr. Gregory A. Pearson. Together with a Facsimile of the Original. One of 150 numbered copies, privately printed, of which this is copy #31. Also SIGNED & INSCRIBED by rock star Graham Nash on the colophon page: "To Leon & Francine / with great affection / Graham / 31 May '75". Nash who purchased the original of the de Sade letter contained herein, became interested in producing this book upon discovering that the letter was unpublished. 8vo, 1/4 buckram with paste-paper boards hand-made at the press, label printed in blue and black. Scarce. PLEASE NOTE that all our First Editions are also First Printings, unless we specifically note otherwise. All our dust jackets are protected in clear mylar covers.
