London, UK: Burns & Oates, 1892. Hardcover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. vi, 550pp. Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Heavily bumped spine ends, cloth torn. Corners bumped. Black endpapers, gutters strained, binding still quite tight. Top text block edge dusty. Previous owner's name on verso of frontispiece. Internally neat, clean and bright, barring occasional foxing. No dust jacket. A large and heavy volume which will require an additional charge for overseas delivery. Letters of English prelate who held high offices in the Roman Catholic Church during the nineteenth-century.
